Hello. I'm Sarah.
Thank you for stopping by. Here is a little bit about myself...
After working in Paris as an English teacher, my career started out in theatre and TV - I toured with the RSC, dressed Michael Sheen, and I was on the crew of the King's Speech.
A bout of wanderlust took me to far-flung shores including Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan, Nepal, India and China before returning to London and turning my hand to journalism. I have written for national and regional newspapers and magazines and a host of websites and am an NCTJ qualified journalist. I now work on a freelance basis as well as overseeing the marketing of our family-run media law training consultancy.
Home is a converted Victorian school in North Yorkshire where I live with my husband and three sons, a dog, cat and a small flock of bantam hens.
It's a beautiful part of the world with stunning landscapes; breathtaking walks; pretty market towns and villages and a coastline dotted with quaint fishing villages and sweeping sands. Not to mention some great places to eat, drink and shop.
My Style and Story blog is a celebration of all this. I love discovering new places and revisiting favourite haunts to share with others. I am a keen walker and photographer and am currently walking the Cleveland Way...you can find out about this over on my blog.
If you would like to get in touch with regard to writing or PR work then do have a look at the type of services I offer. The list is not exhaustive and if there is something you require help with that is not listed, please email me via the contact page to see if I can help.
I look forward to hearing from you and I hope you enjoy browsing the site.
